Arsenal are one of the clubs interested in recruiting the services of Juventus forward Kenan Yildiz, according to Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg.
The 19-year-old is on Manchester United’s shortlist and is aware that the Gunners, Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain are also all monitoring him.
Arsenal were linked with Yildiz ahead of the January transfer window in 2024, but a move did not materialise, and landing him could prove tricky this time around.
The Turkish international is likely to remain with Juve beyond the end of the season, but interested clubs could attempt to lure him away over the next two transfer windows.
The teenage sensation has bagged three goals and three assists in 14 Serie A games this term after finishing on two goals and an assist in 27 league appearances in 2023-24.
Yildiz plays on the left wing and behind a striker, and the Gunners could do with a quality option capable of replicating the impact of right winger Bukayo Saka on that side of the pitch.
However, whether he has what it takes to be an upgrade on either Gabriel Martinelli or Leandro Trossard is debatable, and Arsenal could opt against signing him in January.
They have been scouting him for more than a year and will continue to keep tabs on him going forward
Remaining at Juve to continue his development after coming through their reserve team could be more appealing to him right now.
