Arsenal manager Arteta provides update on Tierney

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has offered an update on left back Kieran Tierney.

The Scottish star missed out through muscle issue as the Gunners managed only a 0-0 draw at home against Crystal Palace.

Neither team had huge chances to win the game, but Palace could have grabbed all three points with slightly better finishing.

Arteta confirmed the team missed Tierney's dynamic running on the flanks in the game.

He told reporters post-game: "I don't know [when he will be back].

"He is going to have an MRI scan and we'll see how he is."

Arteta added: "He's a real threat and the way we are playing and the way we attack on that left-side, he's a really important player.

"We didn't have him, he's injured, and we have to find other solutions."
