Arsenal man emerges as option for Barcelona after Morata talks stall
Get Italian Football News
Barcelona’s talks for Juventus’ Alvaro Morata have now stalled and Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has emerged as an option.
Marco Conterio has reported that Barca’s talks for the striker have stopped, even though the player is with his entourage in Madrid. Barca are therefore studying alternatives solutions to solve their striker issues this month.
One of the hot names is that Aubameyang and Arsenal are ready to release him on a free loan deal and they would be able to contribute substantially to the player’s salary. The Gabonese striker is already out of Mikel Arteta’s project at Arsenal, who want to get rid of the player soon.
He could be the technical and economically-proficient move that Barca could be ready to sign. It was stated by La Gazzetta dello Sport earlier today that Barca were talking to Morata’s entourage and Atletico Madrid, and the player was only waiting for the Catalans to sort out the move but that scenario seems to be on a stand-by now.
