Arsenal’s Pablo Mari is now close to sealing a temporary switch to Serie A side Udinese.
Gianluca di Marzio has claimed that the negotiations between the Udine-based club and the Gunners is now in the very final stages and the player is all but set to join the Friuli club.
It is a dry loan deal that they are about to strike an agreement for and the negotiations started around five days ago and Udinese soon aceelerated in their move for the player.
The defender was linked with a move to Sampdoria as well, but Flamengo were also said to be interested in bringing him back to Brazil. He hasn’t been a regular for Arsenal this season and has made just two Premier League appearances, while playing once in the League Cup.
