Arsenal and Manchester City are eyeing Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar.
L'Equipe says the 22-year-old has impressed during the Ligue 1 season and has especially caught the eye of City boss Pep Guardiola, who adores the player.
However, after City secured the services of Ferran Torres from Valencia, they are unlikely to continue their pursuit of Aouar this summer.
Lyon are hoping to get around £54million for the sale of Aouar, but that could be tricky with the financial implications caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
All the sides hoping to snap him up, with wait until the Champions League is over to know more about how they want to recruit for the following season.
Aouar is under contract at the Ligue 1 side until 2023 and has scored nine goals along with seven assists this season.
