Arsenal have identified Leandro Trossard as their top target for the upcoming transfer window, according to reports.
The 24-year-old has impressed for Belgian side Genk this season, starting 18 games in the Jupiler League and scoring 10 goals.
Football.London claim that the Gunners had enquired after the wide man in November but were knocked back with Genk’s €22m valuation.
The north London side were only willing to make loan offers in January and so therefore looked at other targets.
But it’s believed that the club will go back in for Trossard in the summer as Unai Emery looks to add depth in attack.
If Trossard does join he’s expected to replace Danny Welbeck, who is likely to leave the Emirates when his contract expires in the summer.
