Real Madrid could be set for a major revamp in the full-back area this summer, with the club particularly keen on snapping up Alphonso Davies.

Before Real Madrid can sign the Bayern Munich star, however, the club must resolve the future of Ferland Mendy.

The Frenchman will be entering the final year of his contract this summer and has had no shortage of suitors.

Three Premier League clubs interested in Mendy

Earlier, it was reported that even Bayern Munich are interested in signing Ferland Mendy, perhaps even as a swap deal involving Davies.

Now, Fabrizio Romano (h/t Mundo Deportivo) suggests that there are at least three Premier League clubs keeping close tabs on the Real Madrid left-back.

These three English clubs in question are none other than Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal.

Liverpool are gearing up for life without Jurgen Klopp next season and are set to kickstart a new project. Mendy could be one piece of the puzzle as they look to reinforce their options in the full-back position.

Arsenal, meanwhile, view Mendy as an appealing target, with Mikel Arteta, in particular, being a key admirer of the Frenchman.

As for Man United, the Red Devils have been linked with a move for Mendy for a while. The club are in desperate need to upgrade their squad in the coming summer and Mendy is being viewed as an ideal reinforcement option.

Real Madrid ready to offload Mendy

It is no secret that Mendy has emerged as a consistent performer for Real Madrid this season. The full-back appears to have finally moved past his injury woes.

However, Real Madrid, despite acknowledging his performances, are open to the idea of offloading the Frenchman this summer.

The club want to get rid of Mendy primarily in order to create room for Davies, with it being seen as difficult to have both in the squad.
