Arsenal have been drawn against BK Häcken in the Champions League qualifying round two.

The ties will take place on 18/19 September and 25/26 September, with a league game at home to Manchester City sandwiched between those two fixtures.

Leicester City away will follow the second leg, meaning four games in two weeks for the Gunners.

Arsenal reached the second round by defeating Rosenborg 1-0, courtesy of a Frida Maanum goal.

The Gunners were dominant throughout the match, taking 29 shots, though only five were on target.

They also hit the woodwork three times and had several penalty claims denied.

Jonas Eidevall kept the same starting XI as in the game against Rangers, making only three substitutions in what turned out to be a tight contest due to a lack of finishing quality.

Despite the narrow scoreline, the overall performance in all areas except finishing was very positive.

That’s now two consecutive clean sheets, and in both games, Manuela Zinsberger had little to do in terms of saves.

The team’s attacking creativity has also improved, becoming less structured and rigid compared to last season.

To advance, Arsenal will need to raise their level against BK Häcken, but it is a winnable tie, especially as the Swedish side have recently lost key players.
