A number of top European clubs are on red alert because Marcelo has reportedly asked to leave Real Madrid this summer.
The 31-year-old has spent the last 13 seasons at the Bernabeu, during which time he’s won four LaLiga titles and four Champions Leagues.
But with Ferland Mendy joining Los Blancos in a €50m switch from Lyon this summer, the left-back’s place in the team is now far from guaranteed.
And according to Spanish outlet Sport, the Brazilian has told Madrid president Florentino Pérez he is ready to move on and wants the club to consider any offers that come in for him.
Marcelo has previously been linked with a reunion with his good friend Cristiano Ronaldo at Juventus and the Serie A champions are reportedly still interested.
Sport also claim Arsenal – who have been heavily linked with Celtic’s Kieran Tierney this summer – are also keen on Marcelo, as are Paris Saint-Germain and AC Milan.
The Brazil international is currently enjoying a summer holiday after his surprise omission from Tite’s squad for this summer’s Copa América.
His future will be decided in the coming weeks.
