Arsenal have issued a positive injury update on the fitness of striker Gabriel Martinelli.
The 19-year-old injured himself in the warm up ahead of the FA Cup tie with Newcastle United on Saturday with fears that the Brazilian could be missing for some time.

However, the club have confirmed that the player is progressing well after sustaining an ankle knock and should be able to return to training in ”a few days”.
The Gunners have also confirmed that Gabriel Magalhaes is back in training and will be available for selection for Thursday’s game with Crystal Palace.
Meanwhile, Thomas Partey is close to regaining full fitness and will be assessed ahead of the clash with the Eagles.
