Arsenal have made a move for Inter Milan midfielder Ivan Perisic.

Fussball Transfers says Arsenal have made contact with the veteran's management team about a summer move to England.

The 32 year-old is prepared to leave the Serie A champions this summer, despite his role in Inter's title success last season.

German interest has also arrived for the former Bayern Munich winger. However, he would only return to the Bundesliga to rejoin Bayern. Perisic helped the German giants win the Bundesliga, Champions League and German Cup Treble in 2020.

Perisic then returned to Inter last season, where his form over the second-half of the campaign was instrumental in the Nerazzurri's Scudetto success.

For now, it's understood Perisic would favour a move to England should he leave Inter in the coming months. Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has shown a willingness to add experienced players to his squad after last summer's deal for former Chelsea star Willian.
