Arsenal in advanced discussions with Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze | OneFootball

According to an exclusive report from L’Équipe, Arsenal are drawing closer to securing Eberechi Eze (27) from Crystal Palace. The French outlet writes that contacts with the player to convince him to travel across the capital are advanced.

However, the winger has a €79m release clause, and Crystal Palace are unlikely to do Arsenal any favours and lower their valuation for a player coming off a career-best season with the club. L’Équipe writes that all that remains is whether the Arsenal board are willing to activate his release clause.

They have also been linked to Chelsea’s Noni Madueke (23), albeit the French outlet writes that the amount being discussed has not yet been disclosed. The winger has a contract lasting until 2030 with Chelsea. Arsenal are looking to restock their attack and push for the title following a third consecutive season where the club finished runners-up in the Premier League.
