Arsenal are determined to leave no stone unturned in their quest to acquire wide players in the January transfer window.
Sky Sports report that the Gunners have targeted Yannick Carrasco with the deadline looming.
The north London club have publicly pursued Inter Milan’s Ivan Perišić, but the Croatia international looks unlikely to move this week.
With that avenue foreclosed, Arsenal now look to the Belgian winger who has played in the Chinese Super League with Dalian Yifang for the last year.
The Gunners’ loan deal with Barcelona for midfielder Denis Suárez appears to be concluded and the club are now focusing on wingers to complement their play-maker.
Carrasco joined Dalian Yifang in last Feburary and he scored scored 7 goals across 25 league appearances in the 2018 CSL campaign.
The 25-year-old was named to Belgium’s squad for the 2018 World Cup in Russia, where he helped the Red Revils to a third-placed finished.
The former Atlético Madrid and Monaco player has fulfilled a number of roles through his career, from wing-back to second-striker and most positions in-between.
