Arsenal hero Andriy Arshavin is happy seeing son Arseniy coming through at Spartak Moscow.
Arshavin currently works in a front office role at Zenit St Petersburg, but is happy his son is learning the trade at Spartak.
He told Sport-Express: "Nobody consulted with me. As I understand it, Yulia [Baranovskaya] was helped by Rochus Shokh, and Arseniy ended up in Spartak. I already went to watch his game.
"He is left-handed, he likes football - this is the main thing now. And in which team to play - the second question.
"It's hard to imagine me cheering for Spartak. If only the team will play in European competition, but that is different. Still, I will cheer for my son's success, and the results of Spartak will not worry me too much."
Arseniy Arshavin was named after Arshavin's former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger.
