Thomas Partey has changed to his favoured number five ahead of his second season at Arsenal.

Partey wore number 18 in his first season in north London but has made the switch to the number he used to wear with Atlético Madrid.

‘I like the number five because it’s one of the most important numbers in the team and it is also a lucky number for me,” he explained.

“It’s the number I’ve worn for the past few years, so for me it’s one of the best numbers.”
