Arsenal have been offered Bayern Munich forward Kingsley Coman during the ongoing January transfer window, according to the Daily Mail.

However, while the Gunners like him, they are unsure he represents good value on current costings, with his fee and wage demands deemed expensive.

The 28-year-old Coman has 11 league titles to his name across spells at Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus and the Bundesliga club, with 67 goals and 68 assists in 314 appearances for his current club.

Arsenal could do with such an attacker, but Coman and his representatives have to lower their demands if he is keen on moving to the North London club.

The Gunners are currently without both Gabriel Jesus and Bukayo Saka, with the attacking duo out with long-term injuries, and manager Mikel Arteta wants to bolster his options in the department for the second half of 2024-25.

However, a move for the Bayern star this month is unlikely with the current financial package a deal would cost.

Arsenal may be forced to go after loan deals from foreign leagues as they cannot bring in another Premier League player temporarily this window after using their two slots to sign Raheem Sterling on loan from Chelsea and Neto on loan from AFC Bournemouth in the summer.

They could look to cut short one of the loan deals to free up a space for another Premier League loan signing should they be convinced to move for someone.

The Gunners could do with a quality forward right now to boost their chances of beating Liverpool to the title, and interim sporting director Jason Ayto will be desperate to get the perfect man for the task.

The Arsenal chief is in the running to replace the departed Edu Gaspar, and landing a forward capable of improving the fortunes of the club will do his chances of getting the job permanently plenty of good.
