Arsenal fullback Kieran Tierney has agreed terms over a new deal.

The left-back has three years remaining on his existing deal, which he signed when completing a £25million transfer from Celtic in the summer of 2019.

But Arsenal are keen to hand Tierney an improved contract as he was one of few standout performers in a disappointing season which saw the club finish eighth in the Premier League.

Football.London reports Tierney is enjoying life with the north London club and technical director Edu will present the agreed contract to the Arsenal board to be signed off.

The former Celtic star has been tipped to wear the armband for Arsenal in the future, and signing a new long-term deal will only strengthen his claim to the captaincy in coming seasons.
