Arsenal are expected to announce the signing of defender Cristhian Mosquera from Valencia.
The 21-year-old has agreed a five-year deal with the option of a further year to join the Gunners and will link up with his new side in Singapore, according to Sky Sports.
Arsenal are also hoping to complete the signing of Viktor Gyokeres soon, with a deal close to being done.
Meanwhile, Chelsea have reportedly opened talks to sign defender Jorrel Hato from Ajax.
Sky Sports say the left-sided defender is one of a number of defenders the Blues are looking at.
But Chelsea know they need to sell players in order to bring in more additions, or risk falling foul of UEFA’s financial rules again.
They are also keen on signing forward Xavi Simons of RB Leipzig.
The Dutchman is said to be keen on a move to Chelsea, having scored ten Bundesliga goals in 25 league games last season.
One player who could be on his way out of Chelsea is midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, however.
The 26-year-old is attracting interest from Fulham, according to Sky Sports, who are open to a loan or a permanent move.
They also say Fulham are working on a loan deal to re-sign Reiss Nelson from Arsenal, who is currently taking part in the Gunners’ pre-season tour in Asia.
Elsewhere, Roma have completed the signing of Evan Ferguson on loan from Brighton, which also includes an option to buy the Irishman for around £34.7m.
Hugo Ekitike is closing in on completing his move to Liverpool from Eintracht Frankfurt.
The Athletic report that Newcastle have had a bid turned down by Brentford for striker Yoane Wissa but could return with another offer.
Marcus Rashford’s loan move to Barcelona is set to be confirmed, according to various reports.
And Sky Germany say Liverpool could look to Real Madrid’s Rodrygo as a replacement for Luis Diaz should he depart the club.
