Arsenal encouraged as Gakpo talks up PSV exit

Cody Gakpo is open to leaving PSV Eindhoven this summer.

His form has caught the eye of some of Europe's biggest clubs including Barcelona, Liverpool and Bayern Munich.

But Arsenal are believed to be in pole position to land a £42million transfer - and now Gakpo has revealed a move could be on the cards.

He told De Telegraaf: "Anything can happen this summer.

“I will now calmly compare all the options and see what is best for me. Staying another year is also an option.

“It would be a shame if I went somewhere where I wouldn't get a job at all and I could miss the World Cup. I'll keep that in mind."
