The 31-year-old centre-back arrives at The Hive with bags of club and international experience. Schnaderbeck is the captain of the Austrian national team while she is a two-time FLYERALARM Frauen-Bundesliga champion and a Barclays FA Women’s Super League winner.
Schnaderbeck has been on Arsenal’s books for the last three-and-a-half years after joining the club from German giants Bayern Munich. The defender has made 40 appearances for The Gunners, although her progress at the LV Bet Stadium has been hindered by persistent injuries. Schnaderbeck has made six Barclays FA Women’s Super League appearances for Arsenal this season and she will now be keen to kick on with Spurs.
After completing her loan move to Tottenham Hotspur, Schnaderbeck said “I am really looking forward to joining Tottenham Hotspur, the girls have done so well this season and I’m excited to help the team as much as I can. I can’t wait to get started.”
Schnaderbeck is Spurs boss Rehanne Skinner’s second January transfer window signing. Finnish international midfielder Eveliina Summanen has also joined the club this month.
