Arsenal have reportedly joined the race to sign Leeds United‘s Crysencio Summerville, according to a recent report from Goal via Teamtalk.

The 22-year-old Dutch winger has been a standout performer in the Championship this season, scoring 17 goals and registering eight assists in 40 league appearances and 18 goals and nine assists across all competitions (43 games).

Summerville’s impressive form has attracted attention from several Premier League clubs, including Chelsea, Crystal Palace, and German side RB Leipzig. However, Arsenal‘s reported interest adds another layer of competition to the potential transfer battle for the highly-rated winger.

Summerville, who primarily operates on the left wing but can also play on the right, has been a key figure in Leeds‘ push for automatic promotion back to the Premier League. His direct approach, skill, and eye for goal have made him a constant threat for opposing defences.

Summerville also boasts experience at the international level, having featured eight times for the Netherlands U21 side, scoring two goals in the process. His current market value is estimated at €18 million.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is known to be keen on strengthening his attacking options this summer, and a winger is believed to be a priority position. Injuries to Gabriel Martinelli this season have exposed the lack of depth in the wide areas, and Summerville’s versatility could be a valuable asset for the Gunners.

Whether Leeds would be willing to sell Summerville, especially if they secure promotion to the Premier League, remains to be seen. However, the winger’s impressive performances have attracted significant interest, and a bidding war is likely to take place this summer unless a definitive statement from both player and club arrive.

Leeds running until 2026, the decision on Summerville’s future ultimately rests with his club and their promotion challenge this season, in terms of what they can offer Summerville next season.
