Arsenal have completed the signing of England defender Ben White from Brighton and Hove Albion.

The 23-year-old has signed a long-term deal with the Gunners, with the contract reported to be keeping him at the Emirates until 2026.

White made 37 appearances for the Seagulls last season, mainly as a centre-back but also featuring at right-back and in midfield on occasion.

His performances earned him a call-up to England’s Euro 2020 squad, and he earned his first cap for his country in the pre-tournament friendly win against Austria in June.

It is reported that Arsenal have paid Brighton £50m for the services of White.
