Arsenal have confirmed that Laura Wienroither ruptured her ACL in Monday’s Champions League semi-final defeat to Wolfsburg.

The right-back was introduced as a second half substitute before suffering the injury in the 82nd minute.

Wienroither is the fourth Arsenal player to suffer this injury this season, following Beth Mead, Vivianne Miedema and Leah Williamson.

The Austrian international will now miss a lengthy period as she recovers.
