Arsenal Women have confirmed the arrival of US international Tobin Heath on the eve of the new WSL season.
The 33-year-old was a free agent after leaving Manchester United at the end of last season.
Heath, an Arsenal fan, scored four times in eight WSL appearances in 2020/21.
The USWNT international is a two-time World Cup winner and a two-time Olympic gold medalist.
“Tobin’s record speaks for itself,” said manager Jonas Eidevaal. “She’s an incredibly talented player who will bring so much experience to our squad.
“This is an exciting time for the club, and I’m delighted we could secure Tobin’s signing as we prepare to kick off the new season at Emirates Stadium on Sunday.”
Arsenal kick off the new season at home against champions Chelsea on Sunday.
