Arsenal have announced the arrival of Mat Ryan from Brighton.

The Australia goalkeeper joins on loan until the end of the season.

Arsenal have been looking for a backup to Bernd Leno after summer signing Rúnar Alex Rúnarsson failed to impress.

Ryan was first choice for the Seagulls in the last three seasons but has recently fallen down the Brighton pecking order.
