Arsenal are closing in on the signing of goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga from Chelsea for £5m.
The Spanish shot stopper spent last season on loan at Bournemouth, playing 35 times in all competitions.
He was signed by Chelsea back in 2018 for a huge £71.6 million fee, but has just a £5m release clause in his contract.
The 30-year-old is expected to provide back up for first choice keeper David Raya, with last season’s second choice Neto having now returned to parent club Bournemouth.
Arsenal had been targeting Espanyol goalkeeper Joan Garcia but he instead looks set to join Barcelona.
Kepa has also spent time on loan at Real Madrid since signing for Chelsea, and has played 163 times for the Blues in all competitions.
The Gunners are continuing to work on a deal for RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko too.
Liverpool are also set to sign a new goalkeeper, according to Sky Sports, having agreed a deal for 20-year-old Armin Pecsi from Puskas Akademia.
It comes after former back-up goalkeeper Caoimhín Kelleher joined Brentford.
Elsewhere, Sky Italy report that Tijjani Reijnders will have a medical at Manchester City after agreeing a £46.3m deal with AC Milan to sign the Netherlands midfielder.
City are also working on a deal for Lyon and France star Rayan Cherki, and are also close to completing a deal for Rayan Ait-Nouri from Wolves.
Sky Italy are also reporting that Kevin De Bruyne will complete a move to Napoli after leaving Manchester City.
The Times, meanwhile, report that Liverpool have made a £113m offer to Bayer Leverkusen for Florian Wirtz. It is said to remain short of Leverkusen’s valuation of the 22-year-old, however.
The Mail report that Newcastle have made an enquiry to Nottingham Forest for winger Anthony Elanga, though it would take a significant fee to prize him away. And the Telegraph say Joao Pedro is also a Newcastle target.
