Aston Villa goalkeeper Daphne van Domselaar is closing in on a move to WSL rivals Arsenal, according to reports in the Netherlands.
The 24-year-old shot-stopper joined Villa on a three-year contract only 12 months ago, although she missed the final few months of the 2023/24 season after undergoing hip surgery. Now, she could be set to depart the club permanently as rivals circle.
According to Dutch outlet De Telegraaf, the Gunners are close to securing a deal for the goalkeeper, although the fee involved is unknown at this stage.
Following the departure of Canada international Sabrina D'Angelo earlier in the window, Arsenal are in the market for competition for Manuela Zinsberger.

Van Domselaar began her senior career in her homeland with FC Twente in the 2017/18 season. She was initially reserve behind Nicky Evrard, but soon established herself as first choice by the 2019/20 campaign.
After representing the Netherlands at various youth levels, Van Domselaar made her senior international debut in early 2022. After Sari van Veenendaal suffered an injury in their opening group game of the Euros that same year, she started every one of their remaining games at the tournament.
It’s been a relatively quiet summer for Arsenal so far, with only one major incoming. Spain international Mariona Caldentey joined on a free transfer from Champions League winners Barcelona earlier this month.
The Gunners also beat rivals Chelsea and Manchester City to the signing of academy player Sophie Harwood following the youngster’s departure from Championship side Southampton.
