England’s U21s put France to the sword with a dominant 4-0 friendly victory on Saturday evening.
Arsenal’s Emile Smith-Rowe gave Lee Carsley’s side the lead early in the second half at the King Power Stadium with a well-taken header.
The second goal was scored by Chelsea’s January signing Noni Madueki with a composed finish into the bottom corner.
Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones then made it 3-0 with an audacious flicked finish from Madueki’s cross.
And the victory was wrapped up late on by a goal from Aston Villa’s Jacob Ramsey.
The Young Lions are in action again when they face Croatia in a friendly on Tuesday.
