Arsenal captain Odegaard missed Brentford clash through injury

Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard was injured for their Premier League clash with Brentford.

The Gunners did not miss the Norway star too much in the away game on Sunday.

Arsenal ran away with a 3-0 win, but Odegaard had to sit out the game with a calf issue he sustained in training.

Left-back Oleksandr Zinchenko was also out with the same issue, per Metro.

The Gunners went back to the top of the league with the result.

Arsenal next play in October after the international break concludes.
