Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is building a bond between fans and players at the Emirates Stadium, according to Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth.

The Gunners have made their best start to a season for 16 years, with the Spaniard at the heart of all things positive in north London right now.

What’s the latest news involving Arsenal?

Arsenal might have missed out on qualifying for the Champions League following a collapse late on last season, but Arteta’s men have quickly put to bed any doubts over whether they were able to go again.

That’s because the Gunners won their first five games this campaign and despite losing at Manchester United in their sixth fixture, they bounced back in the perfect way by beating Brentford 3-0 before the international break.

Their togetherness and spirit has been key in their promising start, with Arsenal coming from behind to beat Fulham, while they also managed to beat Aston Villa despite conceding a late equaliser.

The north Londoners are overcoming hurdles they’ve perhaps previously fallen at, and Sheth reckons there’s a special atmosphere at the club and an ever-growing relationship between players and those in the stands.

What did Sheth say about Arsenal?

He told GIVEMESPORT: “I particularly remember they came from a goal down to beat Fulham 2-1, and from the outset, Arsenal would have been expected to win that game but the manner they won that game, where they didn’t play well and they came from behind and the crowd, everyone stayed behind, they were all celebrating.

“Outsiders may think, they’re a small club, why are they celebrating, but inside, it’s building such a bond between the players on the pitch and the coaching staff and the fans.”

What’s next for Arsenal?

Arsenal’s encouraging start to the season could face arguably its toughest test this weekend when they host Tottenham in the first north London derby.

Generally, the Gunners fare well against their bitter rivals on home soil, suffering just two league defeats in the Premier League era.

But Spurs are a different animal under Antonio Conte’s guidance and despite not hitting top form, they’re one of just two sides still unbeaten in the top-flight.

Regardless, Arsenal have won their last six Premier League home games, including all three this term, and should be confident of racking up another derby victory in front of what will be a red-hot Emirates atmosphere.
