Arsenal are set to break the world record fee for a women's player with the signing of Liverpool's Olivia Smith, according to reports.
Smith, 20, joined the Reds from Portuguese side Sporting last summer for a club-record fee and was Liverpool's standout player in the 2024/25 campaign.

According to The Guardian, Arsenal have agreed the first £1m transfer fee in the women's game to bring Smith to North London.
The article claims the fee agreed between Liverpool and Arsenal will exceed the $1.1m Chelsea paid for USA international Naomi Girma in January.
