Arsenal and Chelsea want Jerome Boateng

Premier League duo Arsenal and Chelsea are interested in signing Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng, according to Sport Bild.

The 31-year-old has a contract with the Bundesliga club until 2021 and has been constantly linked with a move away from Bayern in the past two transfer windows.

Boateng was fined by Bayern Munich for leaving Munich unauthorised and thus breaking strict quarantine ruling in Germany due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Bayern are planning an exodus in the summer, with Javi Martinez and Corentin Tolisso also being allowed to leave the Bundesliga leaders.
