Premier League table-toppers Arsenal and Serie A champions AC Milan are targeting Galatasaray right-back Sacha Boey, according to Tuttomercatoweb.
The defender’s future will likely be one of the most followed topics of the Turkish transfer window, as he has been in good form for Galatasaray.
Boey has been a mainstay for his side, helping the club to the top of the table in the Super Lig. He has helped his side keep nine clean sheets in his 22 league appearances.
The 22-year-old has won 55% of his duels in the Turkish top flight this season. He plays 1.1 key passes per game, and while he has no goals, he has created five big chances, recording two assists.
Boey is a tough defender, recording 2.7 tackles per game. He has established himself for the club since arriving in 2021.
Top European clubs like AC Milan and Arsenal have noted the right-back and are targeting him for a summer move. The Stade Rennais youth team product is also open to moving.
Arsenal have played most of their games this season with centre-back Ben White filling in at right-back. They need a specialist there.
Also, their backup right-back Takehiro Tomiyasu has been dealing with niggling injuries. He is out of action until the end of the season.
Arsenal will be in the market for a right-back in the summer, and Boey is a target.
Although, they will face competition from Milan. The Italians need a right-back too.
The Rossoneri will return Sergino Dest to Barcelona after a disappointing loan spell riddled with inconsistency and lack of form.
Milan directors Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara see Boey as a viable option. He will not cost so much with the Italians lacking transfer funds.
AC Milan and Arsenal need right-backs and seem to be looking in the same places in Europe. The pair are also eyeing RB Salzburg right-back, Amar Dedic.
