Arsenal produced a dominant display as they beat fierce rivals Tottenham in the north London derby on Sunday afternoon.

The Gunners welcomed Spurs to the Emirates Stadium on the back of a winning streak.

After defeating Norwich, Burnley and AFC Wimbledon, Mikel Arteta's side were looking to make it four wins in a row in all competitions.

Arsenal  enjoyed a near perfect start as they raced to a 3-0 lead after 35 minutes.

Emile Smith Rowe netted the opener, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Bukayo Saka also getting on the scoresheet.

Tottenham threatened a late fightback after Son Heung-min's goal in the 79th minute reduced the deficit to two.

But Arsenal held on for all three points, with the final whistle being met with jubilation by Arteta and the home support.

Jamie O'Hara would have been disappointed with the result. The Englishman came through the youth system at Spurs and made 56 appearances for the club.

Now 34, O'Hara works as a pundit on talkSPORT. He went on a massive rant on Monday morning where he called out Arsenal supporters for their reaction to the victory.

“Can we get something right, right now. You’ve got nine points, you’re going on like you’ve won the league!” he told talkSPORT Breakfast.

“You’ve beaten a bang average Spurs team with a bang average manager and you’re going on like you’ve won the title. It’s embarrassing.

“You’ve had the biggest fall from grace of any football club in the Premier League.

“You used to compete with Man United for the title. Now you’re beating a rubbish Spurs team and giving it like you’ve won Europe. Get a grip of yourself, Arsenal fans. It’s ridiculous.

“You used to have Emmanuel Petit, Vieira, Dennis Bergkamp, Thierry Henry. You used to batter teams at the top of the table. You’ve had the biggest fall from grace ever.”

O'Hara clearly didn't take Spurs' loss to Arsenal very well...

With that result, Arsenal and Tottenham both have nine points in the Premier League table.

Both sides have a goal difference of -5, although Arteta's side are a place higher by virtue of goals scored.
