RCD Mallorca have on Tuesday answered the call of new head coach Jagoba Arrasate to bring him a new left-back.
This comes amid confirmation that Johan Mojica has put pen to paper on terms at Son Moix.
Defender Mojica, for his part, spent this past season plying his trade under Arrasate’s watch, at Osasuna.
And the Colombian international went on to play an important role in Pamplona, racking up 30 La Liga appearances, featuring a trio of assists.
Upon departing his role on the bench at Osasuna, in favour of taking up the reins at La Liga rivals Mallorca, Arrasate, in turn, quickly made clear his desire to again have Mojica under his watch for the campaign ahead.
And, as alluded to above, on Tuesday, the Spanish tactician’s wish has officially been answered.
As per a statement across Mallorca’s website and social media platforms:
‘Johan Mojica is a new RCD Mallorca player for the next three seasons, until June 30, 2027. The Colombian arrives on loan from Villarreal CF, although last season he played on loan at CA Osasuna, where he coincided with Jagoba Arrasate.’
