“Yes, every club has its own way of doing things. I think you’re used to me not talking about players from other clubs that we haven’t signed. I understand he’s a big admirer of Luis Díaz, because I am too. He’s a great player having a great season.

If he just said that, then he’s also an admirer of Salah and Gakpo. Or didn’t he say that? He only said he admires some players. I admire Lamine Yamal and Raphinha.”

Luis Diaz has been one of the most important players for Arne Slot in his Liverpool team, and he would naturally want to protect such a key player from outside interest. However, there is no doubt that he is a great player, and most clubs would want him on their teams.
