Reds looking to continue excellent start to the season at Wolves on Saturday
The Brazilian missed the 3-0 victory over Bournemouth last weekend and sat out the 5-1 win in the Carabao Cup against West Ham on Wednesday night following a minor muscle complaint.
Understudy Caoimhin Kelleher has stepped in and conceded only once in two games, an unfortunate own goal from teammate Jarell Quansah during the win over the Hammers.
Still, Alisson is available for the trip to Molineux as the Reds look to continue their excellent start to the season.
"We think he is [back],” said the Dutchman on Friday.
“He trained yesterday as part of our session with the group and we expect him to be with us as well today so he should be available."
Slot went on to admit the fixture list has been kind to his side during the opening few weeks of the campaign. Manchester United, who the Reds beat 3-0 earlier this month, are the only team who finished in the top half of the table last season they have faced in the League thus far.
Reflecting on the surprise 1-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest at Anfield last month, Slot said: "It's been a positive start with a small disappointment of losing at home to Nottingham Forest. Any loss at home is a disappointment. It's been a good start but not a perfect one.

"The style we play is similar to what you guys were used to for almost nine years, which is fair as it's mainly the same players.
"The fixture list has been good for us, although maybe the teams towards the bottom of the table will start to rise.
"Who knows where Forest will end up but they aren't typically a side that challenges for the top four, so it hasn't been the perfect start but it's been good."
