Arnautovic scores and creates: Inter beat Cagliari 3-1

A very big and important win for Inter in the league: 3-1 against Cagliari thanks to goals from Arnautovic, Lautaro and Bisseck. The tone was immediately set by the Nerazzurri - who wore the special Away jersey dedicated to Valentino Rossi - as Arnautovic scored in the 13th minute. The Austrian centre forward played a vital role in the first half: following a wonder save from Sommer to deny Piccoli, Arnautovic assisted Lautaro for his goal in the 26th minute.

Inter were in control, but Cagliari started the second half well: a cross from the left was met by Piccoli who headed it home in the 48th minute. The match opened up again, but not for long. In the 55th minute, Bisseck rose highest to convert Dimarco’s corner and make it 3-1. From that moment on, it was only ending one way. De Vrij made a crucial intervention late on to deny Piccoli.

With this win, Inter rise to 71 points after 32 league games, and will prepare for the second-leg of the Champions League quarter final against Bayern München, on Wednesday at San Siro
