According to Foot Mercato, Villarreal winger Arnaut Danjuma (25) is on the radar of several European clubs, including Ligue 1 side Stade Rennais, but is said to be favouring a move back to the Premier League. Rennes has been informed by Danjuma’s representatives that he prefers to move back to England, and Everton has emerged as the front-runner for his signature.

The 25-year-old Dutchman has not been in the best form this season, making 17 appearances and scoring 6 goals for Villarreal. Everton, who are currently struggling in the Premier League, are looking to finalize the deal this weekend to boost their attacking options. Danjuma is a former player of Bournemouth, where he joined from Club Brugge for a €16m fee and has proven himself in the Premier League with 52 appearances for the Cherries and 17 goals to his name. The Toffees will be hoping to see him repeat that success if he does join the club.
