Bournemouth forward Arnaut Danjuma has taken to his personal Twitter account to issue a cryptic message that might possibly allude to his own future this summer.

Danjuma is a player that is in demand this summer following an impressive campaign in the Championship with the Cherries last term that saw him fire in 17 goals and provide seven assists in his 35 appearances. Despite that form though he was unable to help Bournemouth make it back to the Premier League.

Football League World has already revealed that the likes of Everton, Wolves, West Ham, Southampton and Brighton are all potentially interested in making a move for the attacker during the summer transfer window.

It is believed that there a number of sides that are taking a strong interest in him and that suggests it will be difficult for the Cherries to keep hold of him.

Matters surrounding Bournemouth this summer have been made somewhat more complicated by the saga going on surrounding the potential future of Scott Parker. It is being reported he could possibly switch to the Cherries from Fulham at some stage.

Taking to his personal Twitter account, Danjuma issued something of a cryptic message suggesting that change can be a hard choice to make but that it can be vital as well at the same time.

He wrote: “Change might be difficult, but often essential to survival.”

The verdict

This is a very cryptic post from Danjuma and it is difficult to determine whether he is alluding to his long-term future at Bournemouth and the decision he might be faced with this summer or not. That is certainly how some supporters have taken the message on social media and if that is the case then it could be a major blow for the Cherries in terms of their hopes of keeping him.

The 24-year-old is someone that it would be very surprising to see no one come in for at some stage with an offer this summer. It seems inevitable that at least one of the sides that are interested in Danjuma will make an effort to sign him at some point and test Bournemouth’s resolve by making an offer for the dangerous attacker.

Danjuma has proven that he is a level above the Championship and showed a lot of character to recover from what was a disappointing first campaign in English football in that 2019/20 season. He does seem like he is ready to test himself once again in the top-flight and therefore he might heed his own message here and opt to make a change this summer.
