Armando Broja attracts attention from two Premier League sides
the Chelsea News
Two upwardly mobile Premier League teams are interested in signing young Chelsea man Armando Broja this summer, according to a story in the Daily Mail today.
West Ham and Newcastle are both looking to strengthen up top after impressive seasons.
The striker took a while to earn his place in the Southampton team, before having a very strong middle section of the season which turned a lot of heads – and made a lot of Chelsea fans bemoan the decision to loan him out at all given our own striker issues.
The latter part of the season has seen him fade away a little, but that is also true of the whole Saints side, and scouts will have seen more than enough of Broja in the top flight to think he’s worth spending money on.
But if the Albania international can impress Thomas Tuchel in preseason this summer, it might well be that he ends up getting his chance in the first team squad this season.
