Arkadiusz Milik faces summer uncertainty at Marseille
Get French Football News
As reported by , Marseille striker Arkadiusz Milik’s position at the club ahead of the summer transfer window remains in flux.
The Polish forward is considering his future at the Velodrome after a fluctuating season in terms of form and game time. It was reported earlier this season that the 28-year-old is leaning towards leaving the club as his relationship with coach Jorge Sampaoli, who thinks the player’s profile doesn’t suit his system, has been strained.
However, Milik wants to play in the Champions League, where OM will at least be part of the group stages next season after dramatically taking second spot over the weekend, and other UCL options are likely to be thin or non-existent for the player.
Milik managed 20 goals in 37 games across all competitions this season but only seven of those goals came in the league where he made 23 outings. Overall Milik managed a goal every 116 minutes of play this season.
