Despite enduring an injury-plagued campaign, Arjen Robben believes he can play for five more years.
The 35-year-old has had a difficult campaign health wise and only returned last weekend after a five-month lay-off.
However, he believes that if he can stay fit he is still capable of contributing at a very high level for a contending team.
That said, he wouldn’t be drawn on where that will be, although he did admit that he isn’t short of offers.
“When you are used to fighting for the biggest titles, I don’t know if it is in me to join a team who fight for sixth or eighth place,” he told Kicker.
“I have so many options, both in Europe and outside of Europe. But I don’t want to go to China.
“I still want to play but what is important is that I don’t have another five months suffering from a big injury or several minor ones.
“For me, I can play for another four or five years but then there is the other side with the injuries.”
Bayern have already confirmed that the Dutchman will depart at the end of the season along with long-serving teammate Franck Ribéry.
