Argentine youth player victim of barbaric boiling water attack

Argentine football made the headlines once again for all the wrong reasons.

In a youth match played between Sportivo Realicó and Pico FBC, a young footballer on the visiting team was attacked with boiling water by a local supporter.

After the match, the attacker, who has already been identified, approached the victim with his thermos and doused the player in scalding liquid.

The minor suffered first and second degree burns on his face, ear and part of his back. After they took the player to the hospital, the managers of Pico FBC approached the police to make an official complaint.

The board of directors of Sportivo Realicó took a positive step and made themselves available for questioning.
