Argentina: Angel Di María’s wife brutally responds to Adil Rami comments | OneFootball

Angel Di María and Adil Rami found themselves embroiled in a heated war of words recently and now the Argentina star’s wife, Jorgelina Cardoso, has weighed in on the situation.

The conflict first started when Rami went all in on Di María’s teammate Emi Martinez, who had come under fire for his disrespectful celebrations in the aftermath of Argentina’s World Cup triumph.

Rami, who won the World Cup with France in 2018, claimed Martinz was the “most hated man” on his Instagram account.

In response, Di María defended his compatriot, telling Rami that Martinez is the best keeper on the planet and urging him to “go cry elsewhere.”

Yet Rami was not finished there and clapped back again by showing four images of Di María crying. He captioned the photos: “When you lose, when you win, when you leave a club, when you see this tweet.”

What has Di María’s wife said?

While Di María chose not to carry on the heated argument online, his wife decided to take matters into her own hands.

Cardoso shared a snapshot of an article showing Rami’s comments on Di María and wrote: “Ángel could teach you how to cry, how to treat women better and score goals in finals. Happy new year, genius.”

A number of fans were quick to comment on Cardoso’s words and stressed that there was no coming back for Rami.

“There’s no coming back from that,” said one Reddit user.

“AND IT’S JORGELINA DI MARIA FROM THE TOP ROPE,” joked another.

“She destroyed him, lmao,” remarked a third.

Di María’s World Cup tattoo

Despite Rami’s attempts to rile Di María, the Argentine star is on top of the world right now, having finally won the World Cup.

It’s a day that will forever be remembered by Argentina fans and Di María will now be permanently reminded of his own exploits, courtesy of a giant World Cup trophy he’s now had inked on his right thigh.

In a post on Instagram, Di María shared a picture of his new tattoo, along with the caption: “On the skin for all eternity. Thank you very much, friend. You said it when we [won the] Copa America, the other leg was being saved for this moment. It was written. COME ON ARGENTINA.”

Indeed, the forward also has a Copa América tattoo on his left leg to celebrate Argentina winning the tournament last year.

In that game, Di María scored the winning goal as Argentina beat Brazil 1-0 to clinch the trophy.
