New photographs have emerged online of what are supposed to be next season’s Manchester City home and away shirts.
The Blues have one more year left to run on their sponsorship deal with current kit supplier Nike, after which they are expected to begin a new £50million-a-year deal with Puma.
And if the following images are going to be the final City kits produced by Nike, there perhaps won’t be too many fans who will be sad to see the back of them.

It was rumoured a few months back that City’s 2018/19 home kit will feature the traditional sky blue shirt along with white shorts and navy blue socks and the image above is certainly in keeping with that theme.
But we can only assume the designer who came up with that away jersey had been watching The Matrix the night before submission.
And it seems those City fans who yearn for another vintage red and black away strip will be forced to wait a little while longer.
