Enzo Maresca admits he cannot guarantee striker Nicolas Jackson’s future at the club.
Chelsea have signed two new strikers this summer, bringing in Joao Pedro and Liam Delap from Brighton and Ipswich respectively.
The Blues are believed to be open to selling Jackson should a big offer come in, and discussing the striker’s future and how he is coping with the speculation, Chelsea boss Maresca said: “Nico is okay. When the transfer window is open, unfortunately or fortunately, anything can happen.
“This also involves Nico’s situation. At the moment we also had two strikers arrive, both of them in the USA, Joao (Pedro) and Liam (Delap). So we will see what happens.”
Maresca also revealed that defender Levi Colwill has suffered an injury which could force him to miss the start of the Premier League season.
The Blues take on Bayer Leverkusen in a friendly on Friday, having started their pre-season later than their rivals because of their Club World Cup campaign.
