Antwerp pick up talented Mandela Keita on loan with purchase option | OneFootball
Antwerp have brought in OH Leuven’s 20-year-old defensive midfielder Mandela Keita on loan until the end of the season. The Great Old also has a purchase option on the talented youngster. Antwerp are currently experiencing an injury crisis in central midfield, and it is hoped that the young Keita will be able to help the situation.
Keita has struggled for game time due to injury this season, with just 10 appearances for Leuven and many of these off the bench. Last season Keita was one of the emerging talents of the league, with many clubs looking at the midfielder.

Leuven have seen a mini exodus from the club during the winter transfer window. Aleksander Buksa joined the departing Joao Gamboa, who returned to Estoril on loan, Santi Ramos Mingo, who went to Argentina, and Raphael Holzhauser who was loaned out to 1860 Munich till the end of the season.
