Antwerp looking to bring Leicester City midfielder back to Belgium | OneFootball

Sacha Tavolieri is reporting that Antwerp are contemplating opening discussions with Leicester City about the signing of Dennis Praet. The former Anderlecht midfielder has been with the English club since 2019, having joined from Serie A side Sampdoria. So far this season the 29-year-old has managed just six appearances in all competitions for the Foxes since their relegation from the Premier League.

Overall, Praet has played 93 games for Leicester, scoring four goals and providing eight assists. During the 2021/2022 season he was loaned to another Serie A side in Torino. During his loan spell in Turin the midfielder scored twice and provided two assists in 24 matches. Praet was a top talent at Anderlecht when he broke into the first team, leaving the club having played 182 games, scoring 27 goals and providing 39 assists.

The midfielder has also been capped 15 times by the Belgian Red Devils. His contract at Leicester expires next summer.
