Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag expects Antony and Harry Maguire to be fit for Thursday’s Europa League clash against Barcelona.
The Red Devils played out a 2-2 draw in the first leg of the knockout round play-off tie at Camp Nou.
Marcos Alonso broke the deadlock early in the second half before Marcus Rashford restored parity with a superb finish.
The in-form England forward then got the assist for Jules Kounde’s own goal, but United’s advantage was neutralised by Raphinha’s 76th-minute strike.
Erik ten Hag’s side must defeat the Spanish giants in the second leg if they want to proceed to the next round of the competition.
The Manchester side have received a boost ahead of the match, with Antony and Maguire expected to be fit on Thursday.
However, Anthony Martial is still sidelined after he suffered a hip injury a few weeks back.
Ten Hag said in his press conference (as per The Athletic): “We still have the training to go, but I expect Harry Maguire and Antony dos Santos available.
“Anthony Martial is not available. He’s back, back on the pitch, not back in the team training so we wait for that.”
Lisandro Martinez and Marcel Sabitzer will also be available for selection after they served their suspensions in the first leg.
Antony has been an important member of United’s first team since he arrived at Old Trafford in the summer.
The Brazilian has featured in 26 matches in all competitions this season, netting seven goals and three assists.
Maguire hasn’t been a regular starter, but his availability is a boost with United set to be in action on Sunday against Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup final.
